When I add a user, the error say user name already exists, but there is no such user existing under my Domain? |
| The server which is hosting your domain is also hosting many other domain names as well. Chances are that some one else has created that user. To overcome this what you can do is to create another user and make another entry in aliases box for the original user name you wanted to create. |

How to FTP on Syscom Server? |
As a site administrator, you have the privilege to publish the home page. Once you have created a home page and you want to transfer it on the Syscom server appliance, you can upload it by following the steps listed below.
Note: Before uploading your home page, make sure its file name is index.html. The uploaded page will appear at http:///index.html.
- Launch your FTP application, wait for the FTP prompt.
- Type open , press Return or Enter. ( stands for the site name or IP address of the site that will host your home page).
- Type your user name when asked for login name, then press Return or Enter.
- Type your password when asked for password, then press Return or Enter.
- Change directory to /public_html by typing cd /public_html and enter or by clicking
change directory button and manually inputing /public_html. This takes you to the directory for your site home page. Warning: the directory you see here, named "web" is NOT your site root and putting contents here will not publish it. The published directory or the "root" of your site is /public_html.
- Type put /index.html, press Return or Enter. This uploads the file ( stands for the directory location of your home page file on your local disk ).
- Type quit, then press Return or Enter. This terminates the file transfer session.
- Done!

No, when an e-mail user account is created, an accompanying web page is also generated. Another option is creating e-mail aliases to forward e-mail to another account that is not on the RaQ. |

| While there is no limitation to the number of messages, there is a limitation set by the disk quota of the user. The quota also applies to the space used for home pages and other data in the user's home directory. |

| Well it could be that you have uploaded the site contents in the wrong directory. The site contents have to be uploaded in the /public_html directory in order to be published. This directory is one level above. Ftp programs typically place you in the home directory of user. If you load it in the web directory you see as soon as you login, it is the user/public_html dir which can be used as a staging area. You can check this out by visiting your site url www.yourdomainname.com/~username. You must type in your username which has been provided to you. If you see the site contents here, means that the contents are in the /user/public_html dir. So upload the site contents in the right location i.e in the /public_html rather than user name/public_html. |

I want to delete the default POP a/c in my site admin page. should I? |
| Well, The default POP a/c has the site admin and the FTP rights so don't delete it! Incase you still want to , first create a user who has the site admin rights and the FTP rights and then delete the default user account. |

I have created an email ID through siteadmin. But, how do I access my emails and how to configure with the outlook express? |
To access the email ID in Outlook Express, that you have created using siteadmin, please follow-up the following steps:
- Open the Outlook Express and click on Tools.
- Under Tools, click on Accounts.
- In Accounts, click on Add Button and click on Mail.
- In the display Name, put your complete name and click next.
- Select "I already have an e-mail address that I'd like to use and Email Address, put your email ID like userID@yourdomain.com and click Next
- My incoming mail server is a POP3 server
- Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: www.yourdomain.com
- Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: your local ISP then click next
- Account Name: userid.
- In the end click finish.
- In the display Name, put your complete name and click next.
Now you have configured your outlook express with new email ID. To check the messages in outlook express, click on Send/Recv button and if there will be any message, you will get the message in the inbox.
